New Review!
Yet another amazing review, this time from Chad Connolly over at
He gave us a great blurb that I will surely be putting on posters.
"The Midnight Special is truly one of the freshest and most hilarious films to come out of the (horror/comedy) genre."
Wow! Thanks Chad!

And The Hits Just Keep On Comin!
Yo! Patrick here. Still working. Feel free to check up on my onespartan blog for more details on what I've been up to.
In Monster Cops news, it looks like we'll be screening Monster Cops: The Midnight Special in at least 3 more venues this year.
Starfest/Horrorfest in Denver, Colorado
Fencon IV in Dallas
Artomatic in Arlington, Virginia
Exact dates and times are pending. But yay for getting MC:TMS out there. As stated before we're trying to get as many festival/convention screenings as possible to help get the word out about the movie and the DVD release this April.
If you didn't already notice, I put up a 5 minute clip of the movie in the trailers section. "Get to know your Shadow Company officers." Watch it here:
Coming up next:
- Site Updates
- Video Blogs
- EPKs
- We are months away from a Monster Cops short episode.

Buck Rogers and Optimus Prime! COOL!!!
Updates on upcoming screenings.
The Midnight Special will be screening SATURDAY MARCH 17th at ALL CON in Dallas, Texas. Exact screening time is pending but should be available this week. If you're able to make it to ALL CON you really should, especially if your a fan of Battlestar Galactica. Stars from the show, Kate Vernon and Luciana Carro will be there. And extra cool special guest Neil Kaplan will also be at the con, although you may know him as the voice of OPTIMUS PRIME.
And another screening is confirmed for STARFEST / HORRORFEST in Denver, Colorado. This is a convention / fest and the dates are April 20-22. Confirmation on an exact screening date and time are pending. Guest for this con are Kate Vernon (she's everywhere) and Erin Grey (Silver Spoons, Buck Rogers. I swear I had a huge crush on her when I was a kid). You can expect a slew of other guests as well as Captain Buck Rogers himself, Gil Gerard. Too bad I can't be there.
Special thanks to Todd Carlton at ALL CON and Kathy Josey at STARFEST/HORRORFEST for being so cool to work with and for allowing Monster Cops: The Midnight Special to screen. If you're in Denver or Dallas please please please check out the cons, and definitely check out The Midnight Special.
More screening and fest info to come.

Video Blog
The Monster Cops Video Blog is up. Right now there are only two videos.
1 is the Screeners Video, that details the creation of the first round of DVD Screeners that we send out to press. The other video is my Halloween Video from 2005. Not exactly Monster Cops related, but it does show off my love for the genre. Also I really needed something else to fill in the video player.
We'll have some new Video Blogs/Podcasts coming up soon
