It's been a busy couple of days and it's not slowing down.

First off I've been trying to fix some issues with the site. So some pages are incomplete and some video players aren't working properly. But all will be well tonight.

Second. WE WERE APPROVED OVER AT KICKSTARTER!

We're trying several different routes to get the funding we need to get the rest of the episodes finished in time to get a DVD out by Halloween, and one of those ways is with Kickstarter. It' s web site that helps you get set up to accept donations for your creative projects. They're being picky about what projects they help out right now, and they've totally approved Monster Cops.

Night Moves

Just a quick update.

Next episode is held up due to unforeseen computer problems. It is currently being remedied and I hope to get back to editing this week.

In the meantime I'm working on re-writes for the next few episodes and re-tooling the business plan and agenda so we can get theses episodes out to its intended audience, hit some screenings through out the country, and get ready for Monster Cops Series 1 DVD this fall.

Don't Stop Believin

I'm anxious to get this new episode out for all to see. I feel like this one is a bit closer to what I envisioned Monster Cops to be. Funny for sure, a good amount of Monster action (zombies specifically in this episode), and a bit of character driven drama, all wrapped up in a reality show atmosphere.

We'll be spending the next few months putting together several more episodes and minisodes, all leading up to a nice little DVD release. I know several of you have asked how you can own your own copy of the Monster Cops series, and it's coming.

Wrapping up this episode this week. Also doing site updates, so please be patient as some links and video players may not work properly. I know some of the comment widgets have disappeared. Hopefully next week, we'll have a fully updated and functioning site with a brand spanking new 20 minute episode for all to see.

Girl You Know It's True

Yes I just quoted a Milli Vanilli song. What does that have to do with Monster Cops?

Absolutely nothing.

Quick update. Trying to take advantage of this extra time I've got on my hands, decided to really make a run for it and do as much work on Monster Cops as possible. Yes there has been a bit of a hiatus do to the usual life/reality stuff, (Day jobs, Scheduling, Holidays, Weather, Dams, Beavers, etc.)

Was able to update not only the site, but the Minisodes (formerly webisodes) with two newish videos. One is called WOLF BAIT, where Hoss shows us his technique for luring out Werewolves. The second is called CHOPS, where Bateman and Cutter subdue a potential Vampire, who may or may have not shaved his chops off, and may have eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Some funny stuff, yes, but it is delving a little too much into the wackiness with no sign of Monsters, and we are after all, Monster Cops. I want to make sure that some of the videos coming up will feature just a bit more horror and Monsters go along with the comedy, so a Zombie themed full length episode is coming, as is a an even more Zombie filled video / Zombie Training School.

The plan is to really get back on the ball with Monster Cops, more episodes, more minisodes, and much more entertainment to really show you the full extent of just how awesome and entertaining Monster Cops can be. We'll try not to let the supposed trappings of reality get in the way of that. Perhaps (God willing) we'll even have some merchandise and a Series 1 DVD available for purchase, as so many of you have messaged me about over the past coupla years.

I'm really going to bust my ass to make it all happen. Cuz, girl ... you know it's true.

Yeah, I'm sorry, I was just trying to come full circle and find a way to fit in the Milli Vanilli reference and it just came off kind of stupid and cheesy, and now I'm rambling.

Been hard at work (not really) trying to put together the next minisode (note we changed webisode to minisode since techincally all episodes on the web would be considered "web"isodes, and minisode makes more sense since they are on the "mini" side. Hmmm, then maybe we should call them minisides. Anyhoo.)

As always working towards trying to get some sort of funding going, but not really a huge huge priority, since we cam do this no budget. There are a few irons in the fire, so to speak, but as always I never hold my breath on anything. If something happens it'll happen. Got some more time to work on Monster Cops now, so that is exactly what I will be doing, and I hope to get new material up very soon.

And yes there is a new episode. And NO it is not available to see yet. Why? Because other people have to see it first. And these other people will determine whether or not we will do more episodes with some money, or if we will continue to do episodes with no money at all. So in the meantime (is that supposed to be two separate words?) here are some freeze frames from the upcoming episode, which honestly, is limboing between two different titles.

Missing In Action

No this is not a blog about the classic Chuck Norris series of action movies. (Which I love by the way.) Just figured Missing In Action was the best way to describe Monster Cops at this stage.

We are indeed MIA. But we are not without a battle plan. Monster Cops has no budget. We make em because we love to make em and with whatever resources we can. Sadly this means we are at the mercy of all sorts of scheduling conflicts as well as our day jobs. Oh if only we could make Monster Cops for a living. If it's in the cards or not, well that's something we'll have to wait and see.

In the meantime we try to do the best that we can with the time we've got. Monster Cops is also on hold do to a few other projects that are being worked on as well. For more on all that, feel free to check out my personal site PATRICKPREJUSA.COM

We already have alot of footage shot for the next few episodes and webisodes. And coming up soon we'll have a few production days just to work on Monster Cops.

Happy Halloween

Ok, a bit early, but for us everyday is Halloween.

There are delays. Next episode won't be available til Nov. Hope to have many more videos before the end of this year. We are working at it as I post this.

But lemme also take this time to plug two of my other projects.

End Of Summer Vlog 09

Busy

Thanks to everyone who have emailed and or messaged me about Monster Cops. We are still currently on hold. I've had some commercial work to do as well as other video projects to work on. Right now I'm prepping for possibly TWO feature films that we'll be working on in the next few months, and I promise, somewhere in there we'll pump out some Monster Cops stuff. Planning to finish the episode entitled MONSTERS Vs. COPS of which we posted the cold open for already. And there is potential to do a couple of webisodes, possibly 3.

Someone asked what is the difference between episodes and webisodes. Webisodes are short between 3 to 10 minutes. Episodes are longer between 15 to 24 minutes.

Several of you have asked what movies I am working on and is one of them a Monster Cops movie. Currently I am putting together the resources and the financing for a feature film I wrote titled BOBBY'S CLOSET. It is a Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Action, Horror, Comedy and it is NOT Monster Cops related.

The second feature film is one I am currently writing and is NOT Monster Cops either, but is somewhat related to Monster Cops and is part of that universe.
